MAC Contracting & Excavating Co is a full-service excavating contractor who provides multiple excavation services, such as general excavation, lot clearing, foundation excavation, and driveway installation.  We have the equipment and expertise to make your vision a reality; from small building pads to extensive excavation and grading projects.

Land clearing is the first step in preparing a job site for development.  Land clearing involves removing trees, stumps and other vegetation from your property to either improve the overall appearance or prepare it for new construction.  Our extensive experience in site preparation allows projects of all sizes to run smoothly. From initial land-clearing through to final grade, we can take care of it all. 

We work with the PA Department of Environmental Protection and engineers to ensure streams are maintained or restored in accordance with DEP regulations and designs. This can include stream bank stabilization, installing riparian buffers, or maintaining or repairing culverts.

We provide foundation excavation services for both residential and commercial projects. Our team will work with you to ensure that the foundation is properly prepared for construction.

We specialize in a variety of trenching work for underground utilities such as water, sewage, gas, electric, cable and internet. Trenching for electric, cable and internet lines underground can help avoid unnecessary interruptions from storms and downed lines in the future.

Storm Water Management is often a required phase of new construction builds. We work closely with municipalities and engineers to ensure proper best management practices are implemented, such as retention ponds, swales, riparian buffers or detention basins.
